Our Roofing Services

If you’re looking for a roofing company near you, one that is highly rated among roofing contractors, then let us visit you and lead you through our easy steps to a successful roofing project. We start with an inspection. Whether a hidden problem, or storm damage in plain sight, we will assess the components of your roofing system - the shingles or other roof materials, the boots, the piping, gutters, flashing, chimneys, venting and skylights. Once completed we will share our findings and give you choices as you participate in building your estimate. We want our recommendations to make sense for your home, making it look outstanding and maintaining its integrity for many years. Our certification and expertise prepares us to provide high quality products meant to last and backed by long term warranties, high quality installation practices, and reliability from planning through cleanup.

What to expect

Greg A. Hodges - founder and owner - likes to personally climb up on your home’s roof to see for himself what it will take to complete the project. With over 40 years of experience, Greg can quickly identify problem areas. He will set an appointment, come out to your home, personally inspect your roof, and give you an accurate roof repair estimate. He will answer all your questions. Once your project is scheduled, the work is done efficiently and effectively, on time, and to the exact specifications you discussed with Greg. Our clean up is thorough, leaving your property undamaged. And Greg is local, so you know where it find him if you need more help with other exterior projects like siding, windows, and doors.

Common roof problems

Leaking roof

A leaking roof causes moisture to build up just below, leading to various problems such as an accumulation of mold, rot, and even structural damage if left ignored. The leaks can come from any part of your roof system and travel unnoticed until water is spotted inside. We will NEVER put new shingles on top of old shingles, thereby covering the problems and hoping they don’t show up again. We always strip the old roof down completely and make sure any damage underneath is fixed before installing your new roof.

Poor quality installation

Unfortunately not all roofing contractors are licensed and certified to install the highest quality residential roof, which may become apparent to you much sooner than the average lifespan of your currently installed roof. Loose and cracked shingles can be one sign your roof was not originally installed properly. Re-roofing, the act of putting on additional layers of shingles, is another practice we NEVER do because it shortens roof life, will temporarily hide rather than fix problems, and frankly is a disservice to you. Our installation starts with our personal explanation to you of every single element of the installation process and products we will use to get the best results.

Animals living inside

Small animals like birds and squirrels tend to burrow through roofs in order to escape extreme temperatures. Annoying insects can invade through weaknesses in your roof. Unfortunately, this poses a threat to your roof by damaging shingles and causing your roof to leak. Roof inspections and roof maintenance plans can detect these invaders before they become a major problem.

Storm damage

We may be used to severe storms rolling through Mid-Missouri, but your roof isn’t impervious. Even strong winds can cause shingles to wear out or completely blow off during a storm. Hail damage is easier to spot with small indentations spread across your roof top, but sometimes the hail damage is hard to see with an untrained eye. Prevention is your best protection. Prevention means installing correctly so that the high wind rating of the roof surface material is supported by using the correct caps and securing the edges so wind can’t get under your shingles. However, we all know that storm damage occurs, and when it does, we work closely with you and your insurance company for your full benefit.

Our Roofing Systems

Metal roofing

With our approach to metal roof installation, you get a great fit which seals out moisture and mildew for years to come, is naturally fire-resistant to provide added safety, keeps winter snow from weighing down your home, is extremely energy efficient, and is very quick to install!

Flat roofing

In contrast to the typical sloped roof, flat roofs have a very low pitch or may be completely flat. This type of roofing system would be ideal if you’re interested in creating an outdoor living space on top of your home, or need easy access for cleaning out gutters. Some roofs have flat areas along with regular pitched areas. In these situations, we will combine the best of flat roof products and installation with shingles for the rest of the roof so that the entire roofing system can maintain its integrity without developing weak points through weather and wear.

Metal specialty roofing

Make your roof look like a slate roof, tile roof, or shake roof with metal roofing made to look like these specialty roofing materials and colors. There are very attractive choices in metal roofing leaving you with the strength and durability of metal without the metal look.

Asphalt shingles roofing

Asphalt shingles are the most common type of roofing system in Missouri neighborhoods as they provide superior leak protection and are generally less expensive than metal or tile. They come in a variety of textures and colors to match your home’s style. There is a myth that all asphalt shingles are basically the same, so only comparing prices can be misleading. We only use high quality asphalt shingles, underlayment, caps, and hidden vents, coupled with rigid installation standards. And we provide a FREE upgrade to the best warranty on the market.
